IAA Architecten to move to the Melkhal in Enschede

History repeats itself: we are moving to a suitable working environment. Since its establishment in 1968, IAA Architecten's office was located at Van Loenshof, subsequently at Kortenaerstraat and from 1996 on at M.H. Tromplaan. The next 'stop' is the Melkhal in the former Coberco factory.

NEW WAY OF WORKING: NEW SPACE

At the time, we completely restored, renovated and extended the former Memphis Hotel next to the Volkspark, and turned it into an office environment for an architecture firm as was customary in 1996. You could characterise the design today as a low-flexibility workplace. In the Milk Hall, we have the opportunity to go into a new direction, matching the way we already work. Integral working is the credo. All this in an industrial monument we redeveloped ourselves, close to the centre of Enschede and easily accessible by all forms of transport.

The plan is to move into the western floor of the Milk Hall, which once housed the filling department of the Coberco dairy, in December 2021.
