Today is a festive day for the Elver care organisation at the Holterweg in Doetinchem. This morning, three two-storey residential units were completed there. The go-ahead for the new construction, which will provide accommodation for 48 residents, was given in mid-2020. The construction at the Holterweg was realised under the supervision of IAA Architecten and in cooperation with construction partner KlaassenGroep. In the coming weeks, the finishing touches will be added so that the residents can move into their new home in the beginning of June.

BASED ON EXISTING HOUSING CONCEPT

The new construction is located on the site immediately adjacent to the Anna Hoeve, B&B and one of Elver's day care centres. It is based on the existing housing concept and fits in with the surroundings and the existing buildings. The building is partly intended for residents currently living elsewhere, the other studios are for new residents who have indicated that they would like to live at this location with Elver.
