Project developer Aqui-Visons will realise the multifunctional care facility building Leopold I, designed by IAA Architecten, in Dorsten, in collaboration with two Dutch investors. A purchase agreement was concluded last week. In the Hervest district, on the corner of Halterner Straβe and Zechenstraβe, a V-shaped building of 4,027m² GFA with an inner garden will be situated.

MULTIFUNCTIONAL BUILDING

On the ground floor, there is space for day care and commercial spaces such as a drugstore chain and a bakery annex café. On the three floors above that, a total of 21 two-room service apartments are situated, while the other wing of the building can accommodate two living groups of 12 people each, divided over two floors.

Start construction early 2021

Aqui-Visions is already in far-reaching negotiations for the conclusion of a rental contract with the day care, the drugstore as well as the residential care provider. The expectation is that the building permit will be obtained this fall and construction work can start early next year.
