Construction of Kampus, building full of talent, has commenced. On Thursday 2 September, the first batch of Kampus students gave the official go-ahead for construction on the Morsweg in Rijssen. Together, they set the pile-driving rig in motion and with colourful confetti, this marked the start of a prosperous construction period.

VOCATIONAL TRAINING IN VARIOUS INDUSTRIES

Kampus is a training centre for various vocational training courses from various industries, catering to high-demand sectors such as construction, installation technology, as well as healthcare and retail. ROC van Twente, REMO, Bouwmensen and Zorggilde will be housed in the building, and in addition, partners who have joined Kampus, such as transport and logistics and infra and interior construction, have an important share in the building.

The central place in the building is the Experience Centre where new developments are constantly visible and where students, but also visitors, are inspired by the latest innovations in their own field, as well as from other relevant fields. It buzzes with energy and companies want to present themselves and also launch their latest innovations. Young people and adults can learn new skills, discover talents and then work on them in the Experience Centre.

Completion summer 2022

Kampus is expected to be completed on 1 July 2022, after which the Experience Centre can be put into use from the start of the new academic year.
