Cardiac catheterisation and angioplasty centre in Emmen completed

On Friday 18 September, the new regional centre for cardiac catheterisation and angioplasty was completed at the Scheper hospital location of the Treant Zorggroep. The building is next to the emergency room and has three cardiac catheterisation rooms and preparation space for eight patients. In addition to cardiac catheterisation and angioplasty, pacemakers and internal defibrillators (ICDs) will also be fitted at the new centre.

EXECUTED IN CONSTRUCTION TEAM

Focus areas for finishing and furnishing were airtightness, radiation protection, noise protection, fire protection and infection prevention. Building contractor Buursema worked in a construction team with electrical installer Harwig, mechanical installer De Groot and installation consultant Ingenieursburo Linssen. Project management was in the hands of Gerard van Wouw (Treant Care Group) and IAA Architecten conducted the construction management.
