Afterwards, Henk Gersen gave a presentation about the new building together with Anja Diepstraten (director living with care region south of the Amaris Zorggroep).
ALPORTI: FIVE GROUP HOMES FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM DEMENTIA
Now that the first three buildings of the sustainable residential area Nieuw Zuid are inhabited and Amaris' oldest care building has been demolished, there is room for the fourth building. The Alporti building consists of five floors with a total of 44 social rental apartments that have been converted into five group homes for elderly people suffering from dementia. The residents have their own room and a communal living room with kitchen.
