Contractor Bramer has started the construction of De Zwanenhof care hotel in Zenderen. First of all, a circular surface was excavated in the pasture to the west of former retreat house St. Jozef, where the new building will be located. The next step will be to create the foundation of the swimming pool and the basement. Due to too long delivery times of concrete piles, a foundation system using grout piles has been chosen here.

ROUND BUILDING IN GREEN ENVIRONMENT

The new two-storey care hotel has a round shape and forms a neutral counterpart to the symmetrical retreat house. In addition to sixty comfortable and modern rooms, the building includes wellness facilities (including indoor and outdoor swimming pools), a gym, fitness room, treatment rooms and a restaurant with terrace. Each hotel room will have its own unique view and character thanks to its location in relation to the sun and the round shape of the building. The facades largely consist of glass, so that the hotel guests can experience the green surroundings from inside the building.
